! What to watch for
- Huge distances between fuel stops — plan range carefully
- Wildlife: bison, bears, and moose on the highway
- Gravel sections (e.g. the Dempster) and a short, cold season

ULSD and DEF readily available in towns; top up before remote northern stretches where stations thin out.
